Finally Friday Music Clip of the Day: From Rain to Rainbows Edition

Eva Cassidy is a soulful chick. I have her Songbird album and it's awesome. I believe it's the only album she put out, because she passed away really young. Anywho, here she is singing "Wade in the Water." (Just listen to the song, don't necessarily need to watch this video.)

This clip is really short, but upon learning that Reading Rainbow will no longer be featured on PBS, I feel compelled to post the amazingly catchy theme.

Chelsea,

I wonder who the executive is who decided to dismiss "Reading Rainbow" from the ranks of educational programming on public television? I have many fond memories of watching this show when I was young, and I think it is far more educational than many of the other shows that my local PBS station and the national cable "PBS Sprout" channel currently air. Indeed, sad shall be the day when PBS decides to discard "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" from their syndication of shows, for it is my favorite "children's" program, and, at the risk of great embarrassment to myself, I must admit that I could quite easily watch this show today and enjoy what I saw.

As for your other video, I must tsay that I do not usually get into such a genre of music, but I liked this jazzy sort of song; moreover, I liked all of the references to God in the ballad.

Finally, I am sorry that I have not thanked you prior to now for adding me to your distinguished group of "Other Fish to Fry"; therefore, I seize this pristine opportunity to tell you that it is my immense pleasure to proffer my absolute gratitude to you for such an honor and gracious gesture to me. If I may ramble and digress for a moment, I also would like to offer my gramercy to you for allowing me to acquaint myself with you and for your reciprocation of my amity towards you. I greatly enjoy reading your blog, and I thank you for your continued authorship of it.

-Tyler.
