Let's Go Fly a Kite

If you'll recall, Mel and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at last year's Cherry Blossom Kite Festival. This year's kite festival was last weekend and was a bust of sorts since it was dreary and rainy all day. Instead of having a pity party over the washed up festival, we decided to have our own: The 1st Annual 317 1/2 unofficial Cherry Blossom Kite Festival Spectacle and Picnic.

So if you're in DC, come on down to the Mall on Saturday with your kite and a picnic. It's sure to be a high flying good time!
